5 HOT TOOLS THAT ARE WORTH YOUR MONEY VS 5 THAT ARE NOT

When it comes to hairstyling, the right hot tools can make all the difference, turning a bad hair day into a beautiful, fresh look. Some tools transform your hair and become your go to, while others end up sitting in a drawer after one use. With the endless variety of hot tools on the market, it can be difficult to decide which ones are worth the investment, and with ones should stay on the shelf. In this blog, we will cover which tools are worth the hype.

Great quality hot tools can range from very affordable to very expensive. Below are a few tools that I believe are worth the hype.

Dyson Airwrap:

Retail: $799

Versatile and equipped with a variety of attachments, the Dyson Airwrap allows you to blow dry and style your hair using the same tool. If you are willing  to splurge on a great drying and styling tool, this is a great option.

Budget Tip: A cheaper alternative that performs similarly is the Shark  FlexStyle.

Amika Blowout Babe Thermal Brush:

Retail: $100

A great option if you like your hair to have a lots of movement and enjoy the  blowout effect. It is very easy to use and delivers beautiful, effortless results.

BaByliss Pro Ceramic Xtreme Dual Voltage Curling Iron:

Retail: $64.99

My personal favourite. It is a great iron with a wide range of heat settings and is very easy to use. This iron is great quality, and definitely worth the  hype.

BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Flat Iron:

Retail: $215

Truly an amazing, salon quality flat iron with a wide range of heat settings. It  makes the hair very flat and smooth while reducing  frizz. It is also great for flat  iron curls. This tool is another that is worth the splurge.

Aria Beauty Triple Barrel Waver:

Retail: $116

This is a unique iron that gives a very effortless and beachy look. It is great if  you want a quick hair refresh and is 100% worth the splurge.

Now for the hairstyling tools that are not worth the splurge and should  probably be left on the shelf. These tools may seem appealing at first, but  they often fall short in performance, durability, or hair health. Here are a  few that don’t quite live up to the hype:

Conair Curl Secret Automatic Curling Iron:

Retail: $129

Automatic curling irons may seem more convenient and user friendly; However, they  often have very weak temperature control. Hair ca easily get caught inside the device, causing breakage. They also tend to produce very inconsistent curl results.

Revlon One-Step Dryer and Volumizer:

Retail: $59.99

Although it’s an affordable blow drying option, realistically, it can be quite damaging to the hair and can cause lots of breakage. A regular blow dryer is  just as effective and less damaging.

The Conair Quick Braid

Made for convenience and easy of use, this tool may seem like a great idea for those  who do not know how to braid or aren’t very good at it. However, it can easily  tangle your hair and may even rip it out.

Conair Curling Iron:

Retail: $22

This is not necessarily a bad product I have used it for years, but I think  investing in a good quality curling iron that will last is a much better idea.  These irons don’t get as hot as they should and require more time to curl  your hair. They also tend to deteriorate quickly, and in the long run are not the  best option.

Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Plate Flat Iron

Retail: $129.99

Overall, this is not a bad product, but I do not think it is worth the higher price  tag. It takes multiple passes to get the hair straight, which takes  more time. Spending the extra money on the other BaByliss Pro flat iron would be more beneficial in the long run and will deliver better results.
